There are two primary methods to check the status of your income tax refund online in India:
1. Through the Income Tax e-Filing Portal:
- Step 1: Visit the official Income Tax e-Filing portal: https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal/

- Step 5: The refund status will be displayed on the screen.
Note:
- The refund status will typically be available 10 days after the Assessing Officer has sent the refund to the Refund Banker.
- If the refund is not processed through the Refund Banker, you can check the status on the NSDL TIN website using your PAN and assessment year.
